Bengaluru: The latest IPL clash has been defined by a stunning performance from Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who has delivered a 15-ball fifty to lead Rajasthan Royals to victory over Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The 15-year-old has scored 78 runs from just 26 balls, including eight fours and seven sixes.

The remarkable innings has helped Rajasthan Royals chase down a target of 202 with two overs remaining, maintaining their unbeaten run in the IPL season. Suryavanshi’s explosive start has placed immediate pressure on the opposition bowlers.

The IPL contest has seen Suryavanshi dominate experienced players such as Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Alongside Dhruv Jurel, the young batter has built a 108-run partnership in just 37 balls, setting a strong foundation for the chase.

Rajasthan Royals have reached 97-1 in the powerplay, with Suryavanshi bringing up his half-century in just 15 deliveries. The achievement has marked one of the fastest fifties in IPL history and the second time he has reached the milestone at that pace this season.

After his dismissal, the Royals briefly lost momentum, slipping to 134-4. However, Jurel has steadied the innings with an unbeaten 81, ensuring the chase was completed comfortably.

Earlier, Jofra Archer struck with the first ball by dismissing Phil Salt. Virat Kohli added a quick 32, while Rajat Patidar led a recovery with 63 runs.

Late contributions from Romario Shepherd and Venkatesh Iyer pushed Royal Challengers Bengaluru past 200, but the total proved insufficient.

The IPL season has continued to highlight emerging talent, with Suryavanshi now leading the run charts with 200 runs in four innings at an exceptional strike rate. The result has ensured Rajasthan Royals remain unbeaten and firmly positioned at the top of the standings.
