    World Police Summit 2023 to focus on crucial challenges in law enforcement

    The 2nd edition of WPS will bring together experts from around the world and channel insights from more than 230 leading speakers.

    Duabi, UAE: The second edition of the World Police Summit (WPS), hosted by Dubai Police, will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE, from March 7 to 9, 2023.

    The WPS is expected to feature multiple conferences and a comprehensive international exhibition that displays ground-breaking technologies as well as discuss the crucial challenges faced by the police forces and the latest technological advancements in the field.

    The conference will bring together experts from around the world and channel insights from more than 230 leading speakers.

    The three-day summit of 2023 will host six conferences covering the most innovative policing techniques, from crime prevention, anti-narcotics, and forensic science to drones and K9. The sessions aim to strengthen global policing and create a global policing community who can meet the future with confidence and showcase policing techniques at the cutting edge.

    Major General Dr. Abdul Qudous Abdul Razzaq Al-Obaidli, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Excellence and Pioneering Affairs at Dubai Police, stated that “the WPS 2023 will be a golden opportunity for developing worldwide police as well as security work systems, ensuring all stakeholders are familiar with various changes and capable of utilising the latest innovative technologies. This will eventually enhance ways to combat crimes locally and internationally as well as contribute to the development of police human cadres.”

    With more than 250 exhibiting companies, the WPS will further provide insight into the most prominent policing tools and technologies used around the world while also facilitating a world-class environment for trade across the industry’s full value chain. Participating companies already registered include Rafael, Dell, IDEMIA, Beacon Red, Cisco and Canon.

    The 2023 summit is expected to include sessions that will define the future of global policing by addressing the key challenges faced by police and law enforcement agencies, as well as providing the thought leadership, direction, and strategies required to enhance public safety.

    About World Police Summit

    The World Police Summit is the world’s leading conversation for police and security experts founded by the Goverment of Dubai. The first edition of WPS was held in March 2022 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre during the Dubai Expo 2020. The conference was hosted by Dubai police and organized by the international exhibitions and publishing company, Dmg events.

    The WPS offers a platform for the international police community to obtain crime information, market statistics, technical solutions, and services to enhance security as well as safety requirements across the world.

    The event is supported by INTERPOL, EUROPOL, Global Road Safety Partnership, as well as the IACP and co-located with the UAE SWAT Challenge international edition, the International Association of Chiefs of Police Meeting, the INTERPOL Young Global Police Leaders Program, and the Police Academy Graduation.
