Washington: The White House has launched Trump TV: The Essentials Station, a 24/7 streaming service featuring President Donald Trump and content from the Trump administration.
The new platform brings presidential speeches, major announcements, administration updates and selected highlights into one continuous video feed. The White House noted that the service will be updated in real time, providing viewers with a direct way to follow developments from the administration.
Trump TV is available through White House digital platforms, including the official website and YouTube channel. The service is designed to provide continuous access to selected presidential and administration material rather than relying solely on traditional television broadcasters.

The first programming has featured footage from earlier presidential appearances, including Trump’s July 3 address at Mount Rushmore. The stream also included footage from Trump’s January 2025 inauguration as the 47th US president.
The initial stream largely focused on recorded speeches and public appearances. The extent of live coverage remains unclear. The White House has not indicated how much of the president’s current schedule will be carried live through the service.
The launch comes as the administration faces a dispute with major US news organisations over access to the White House. Trump has revoked access for CNN, MS NOW and Politico after criticising coverage from the 3 outlets.
The dispute also affected the White House television press pool. The pool traditionally allows major broadcasters to share footage of presidential events. This arrangement helps networks cover White House activities without sending separate crews to every event.
Trump TV has therefore launched during a period of tension between the White House and traditional news organisations. The new service gives the administration a direct digital outlet for distributing speeches, announcements and selected presidential footage.
The platform provides viewers with another way to follow White House activity while the legal dispute over media access continues. Its launch also marks an expansion of the administration’s digital presence beyond conventional television news coverage.
