New York: Anthony Scaramucci, who served as the White House Communications Director for just 11 days, recently claimed that Melania Trump harbors strong negative feelings towards her husband, former President Donald Trump. Speaking on the MediasTouch podcast, Scaramucci stated, “Maybe Melania Trump. That could be the only person I think of. Because she hates (Trump).”
Scaramucci suggested that Melania’s alleged disdain for her husband surpasses that of many others, using it as a benchmark to gauge Donald Trump’s unpopularity. “I judge the hatred of Donald Trump by the Melania standard,” he remarked. The former aide even compared his own wife’s feelings towards Trump to those of Melania, saying, “My wife hates Trump as much as Melania.”
Scaramucci went on to claim that only one other individual, General Mark Milley, holds more animosity towards Trump than Melania does. “He’s the only guy I’ve met so far that actually hates him more than Melania,” Scaramucci added.
In response, Donald Trump dismissed Scaramucci’s remarks, labeling his former aide as bitter and driven by a personal agenda.
Melania Trump, who was known for her diplomatic behaviour and graceful style during her time as First Lady from 2017 to 2021, has largely stayed out of the public eye since the end of Trump’s presidency. While rumours have suggested that she was a reluctant First Lady, those close to her maintain that she fully supports her husband’s re-election campaign.
Scaramucci, who has been a vocal critic of Trump since leaving the White House, emphasized his desire to see Trump defeated in the upcoming election. “Time to defeat Trump and the menace he represents,” Scaramucci urged.
