Atlanta: The runoff election in Georgia has taken place as voters selected a replacement for Marjorie Taylor Greene, who resigned from the US Congress in January. The result has been closely monitored as it could influence control in the House of Representatives.
Voters have been choosing between Republican candidate Clay Fuller and Democratic candidate Shawn Harris. The winner will complete Greene’s term, which runs until January 2027.
