Paris: US President Joe Biden, during a visit to France, warned that Russian President Vladimir Putin will not stop with his war in Ukraine, pledging unwavering support for Europe against Russia.

Speaking alongside French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris, Biden emphasized that the entire European continent is under threat from Putin’s actions. The leaders jointly released a “roadmap” to support Ukraine, which includes a commitment to use frozen Russian assets to aid Kyiv’s efforts.

“The United States is standing strong with Ukraine. We’re standing with our allies,” Biden stated. “Putin is not going to stop with Ukraine…. All of Europe will be threatened. We’re not going to let that happen.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that the Russian offensive in Kharkiv, which began nearly a month ago, has failed. He asserted that Ukrainian forces are doing their best to restrain the Russian advance.

Meanwhile, Putin has threatened retaliation against Western countries supplying Ukraine with long-range missiles capable of striking Russian territory.
