Oslo: Barcelona secured their fourth Women’s Champions League title after defeating Lyon 4-0 in a dominant final performance in Oslo.

After a tightly contested first half, the Spanish side took full control of the match after the break with clinical finishing and attacking intensity.

Lyon started strongly and even had an early goal ruled out following a VAR review for offside. The French club controlled much of the possession during the opening stages and repeatedly tested Barcelona’s defence.

However, Barcelona gradually grew into the match and found the breakthrough in the 55th minute through Polish striker Ewa Pajor.

Pajor finished from a difficult angle after a fast counterattack initiated by Patri Guijarro, giving Barcelona the momentum they needed.

The forward doubled Barcelona’s lead later in the second half after Lyon’s defence failed to react quickly inside the penalty area.

The second goal significantly shifted the balance of the match as Lyon struggled to regain their earlier rhythm and attacking pressure.

Spanish forward Salma Paralluelo then sealed victory with two late goals, including a powerful strike from distance before adding another during stoppage time.

Barcelona supporters erupted in celebration as the team comfortably closed out the final minutes to secure another major European triumph.

The victory further strengthens Barcelona’s growing dominance in women’s football and adds another European trophy to the club’s recent era of success.

Despite the defeat, Lyon remain the most successful club in Women’s Champions League history with eight titles.

Barcelona’s latest triumph also highlights the increasing competitiveness and global popularity of women’s football, with the club continuing to establish itself as one of the sport’s modern powerhouses.
