United States: Former President Mr. Donald Trump has demanded the “termination” of rules and regulations in US, including those mentioned in the Constitution, while falsely claiming that tech companies and Democrats conspired to “throw the presidential election results” in 2020.
Mr. Trump’s comments came after internal Twitter emails were disclosed to Substack writer Mr. Matt Taibbi, revealing the company’s decision-making process over a New York Post article about material recovered on a laptop believed to be owned by Mr. Hunter Biden, the son of President Mr. Joe Biden.
The former President also added that, “A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution. Our great ‘Founders’ did not want, and would not condone, False and Fraudulent Elections.”
California Representative Mr. Eric Swalwell also responded to Mr. Trump by posting a statement on Twitter, questioning, “How many Republicans called themselves Constitutional Conservatives during the Obama years?”
The articles in the US Constitution to which Mr. Trump is referring or if he is calling for the termination of the entirety of the nation’s bylaws are still unclear in the statement.
Mr. Trump announced his third presidential bid last month and is still widely considered the leader of the Republican Party.
