    Milan Fashion Week 2022

Milan, Italy; One of the most famous fashion shows in the world, the Milan Fashion Week kicked off its first full day of shows with strong performances from Fendi, Del Cor and Cavalli, fashion houses.

In just a few short seasons, Mr. Kim Jones, English fashion designer, established a very clear, modern style and a highly assured sense of color coordination for Fendi. Mr. Jones respects the Fendi DNA very much, recognizing the past while driving the brand forward. This season, the designer successfully referenced the house’s own archives, playing in particular on dresses worn by Delfina Deletres Fendi.

Meanwhile, Mr. Fusto Puglisi created fusion fashion with a bold combination of grand Hollywood glamour, regal roll, racy bodycon and signature Cavalli big-cat prints. An eclectic, but ultimately very convincing collection from Del Cor, Haute-Couture is the closest one can get to women’s ready-to-wear seasons in Milan.

    Milan Fashion Week 2022

All the household names of Italian fashion were featured in the calendar, with Fendi and Roberto Cavalli having already showcased their works and Max Mara, Prada and Moschino, Tod’s and Versace, Dolce, Gabbana, Trussardi and Giorgio Armani expected to go on floor in the coming days.

The calendar of this edition of Milan Fashion Week, dedicated to the Spring/Summer 2023 women’s ready-to-wear collections, includes no less than 210 events, 68 runway shows (seven of which are in digital format. ), 111 presentations and almost 30 parallel events, in contrast to the 170 events in February.

Sharing her remarks about the event, Milan’s mayor Mr. Giuseppe Sala highlighted that “this fashion week is a breath of fresh air for Milan, certainly the city’s central event in September.”
