Argentina: Lionel Messi reached another milestone by getting the most likes in a recent Instagram post after winning the World Cup. The post was a gallery of him celebrating Argentina’s victory in Qatar.
The player got over 65 million likes within hours of uploading it, and the number is increasing. Argentina defeated France on penalties in the final in Qatar and that was their first World Cup triumph in 36 years. Messi’s Instagram photo broke the previous record, which was held by a simple image of an egg, by receiving millions more likes.

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Messi’s post became the most-liked Instagram post in history with 58 million likes, which had reached more than 65 million likes.
As per Guinness Book of World Records , Messi set five other records with his World Cup performance, including most FIFA World Cup matches played by a player (26) and most FIFA World Cup appearances as captain (19).
