Las Vegas: The Kansas City Chiefs have won over the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 to become back-to-back Super Bowl championship.
At Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman scored the game-winning touchdown on a 3-yard pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
The Kansas City Chiefs are the first team in two decades to win back-to-back in Super Bowl. Despite Kansas City’s 10-3 lead, it appeared as though San Francisco would receive the glory.
After the game, Patrick Mahomes said that, “With all the adversity we’ve been through this season to come through tonight. I’m proud of the guys. This is awesome. Legendary.”
Super Bowl, United States’ one of the greatest sporting events, has grabbed the attention due to Taylor Swift’s presence. It has been widely reported that she is in a relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Swift has completed the Japan leg of her Eras tour. After performing a sold-out show in Tokyo, she returned to the United States to support Kelce.
In the immediate aftermath of the touchdown, TV cameras focused on the singing sensation. The 14-time Grammy winner, enjoyed the game with Kelce’s family and friends and celebrated the Kansas Chiefs victory. During the post-game celebration on the side of the field, Swift and Kelce shared hugs and kisses while looking at the crowd and gathered media.
Since they started dating last year, Swift has attended several NFL games to watch Kelce play. NFL officials have credited her for the sudden surge in interest in the sport among young women.
