Los Angeles: Former US President Joe Biden has taken a major step towards shaping his post-presidency career by signing with Creative Artists Agency (CAA). The agency, based in Los Angeles, previously represented Biden from 2017 to 2020.
Richard Lovett, co-chair of CAA, voiced excitement over the reunion, calling Biden “one of America’s most respected and influential voices in national and global affairs.” He further complimented Biden’s commitment to public service, emphasising values of unity, optimism, dignity, and possibility.
CAA, known for its connections to Hollywood stars and top-tier celebrities, has also worked closely with former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama. During Biden’s prior association with CAA, he published his bestselling memoir Promise Me, Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship, and Purpose.
At 82 years old, Biden has kept a fairly low profile since leaving the White House, with no major book or projects confirmed yet. However, his brief absence from the spotlight hasn’t kept him out of the public eye. The former president remains involved, staying in contact with former aides and family, while also celebrating the birth of his great-grandson.

Though typically associated with Hollywood and high-profile entertainers, CAA also represents politicians and social causes, furthering its range of influence in various fields. The Obamas’ collaboration with CAA, through their production company Higher Ground, resulted in award-winning content like the Oscar-winning documentary American Factory.
As Biden navigates this next chapter, the world watches closely for what comes next, with CAA undoubtedly recreating a key role in his endeavours.
