House of the Dragon will see a narrative and casting shift after this episode, as episode 6 will mark a major time jump. Young actors such as Ms. Miley Alcock as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen and Ms. Emily Carey as Lady Alicent Hightower will be handing over their roles to older actors Ms. Emma D’Arcy and Ms. Olivia Cooke respectively.
