London, UK: The X and Tesla CEO, Mr. Elon Musk, and Britain’s Prime Minister, Mr. Rishi Sunak, have discussed Artificial Intelligence’s (AI) risks and advantages following a world-first AI summit at Bletchley Park in the UK.

“AI will be a force for good, most likely. But the probability of it going bad is not zero percent,” Mr. Musk said.

The Tesla CEO predicted that in the future, no jobs would be needed. Mr. Musk warned that everybody should be concerned about humanoid robots that can follow people anywhere.

The billionaire quoted that,”it’s something we should be quite concerned about. If a robot can follow you anywhere, what if they get a software update one day, and they’re not so friendly any more?”

In response, Mr. Sunak said we’ve all watched movies about robots that end with the machine being switched off. Mr. Musk was present on the two days of the AI Summit.

On the first day of the event, more than 25 countries and the European Union signed the Bletchley Declaration.

This agreement demonstrates their commitment to working together to create a united approach to oversight in efforts to deploy AI technology in a human-centric, trustworthy, and responsible way.

The declaration underscores the potential for serious, even catastrophic, harm, a concern that many tech leaders have expressed.

During the event, Mr. Sunak cautioned that AI could pose a high risk to humanity on the scale of a pandemic or nuclear war. The Summit drew around 100 politicians, tech firms, and AI-related experts.
