New Delhi, India:  The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced that the country will launch the first pilot project for retail Digital Currency on 1st December, extending the test to evaluate the production and distribution of the e-Rupee in the South Asian market with a selected group of customers and merchants. The introduction of Digital Currency in India is expected to be implemented without disrupting the existing financial system. Massachusetts: Lecanemab, the drug which is designed to target and clear amyloid, has become the first drug to slow the destruction of the brain in Alzheimer’s disease. New South Wales, Australia: The New South Wales government has been forced to cancel more than $30 million in fines for violations of COVID-era public health guidelines after recognizing that they were imprecise. The decision was made in a case before the Supreme Court, which argued that two fines issued during 2021 lockdown were invalid because the cases did not adequately describe the alleged offence. Hawaii, US: The largest active Volcano in the world, Mauna Loa in Hawaii, has erupted for the first time in nearly 4 decades causing volcanic ash and debris to fall nearby.
