Myanmar: The United Nations (UN) has said that approximately 90,000 people have been forced to be displaced in Myanmar due to escalating conflict between military rulers and an alliance of ethnic armed groups. “As of 9 November, almost 50,000 people in northern Shan were forced into displacement,” the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) remarked. London, UK: A new study has found that blood tests can early detect Crohn’s disease. It is an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that causes chronic inflammation of the GI tract. There is currently no cure for this disease, but early detection can prevent the development of severe bowel damage. The strike had stopped the production of hundreds of films and television shows. According to the charity Tearfund, at current levels, enough plastic waste to cover a football pitch is openly dumped or burned in sub-Saharan Africa every minute. Kenya: The United Nations (UN) warned that countries planning to expand the fossil fuel industry would push the world far beyond the Paris deal’s 1.5 ºC global warming limit.
