United Kingdom: A news study has found that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused sustained damage to the brain health of people aged 50 or over, accelerating cognitive decline regardless of whether they contracted the disease or not. Palestine: The United Nations human rights office has stated that the Israeli air attack on the Jabalia refugee camp in Gaza could amount to a war crime. Israel: The Palestinian militant group Hamas has said it will release some foreign hostages in the coming days.
