Wildfires continues to rage in France’s southwestern department of Gironde, with more than 3,700 hectares of land burned since September 12, Gironde Prefecture, state services in Gironde, stated in a statement. Washington DC: The US Department of Commerce’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the American tech giant Google have inked a cooperative research and development deal in order to develop chips for researchers.
