London, UK: The controversial Netflix documentary starring Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has been released on Netflix. In it, the couple promises to recollect their painful separation from the British royal family.
Netflix announced the project, “Harry & Meghan,” last week following months of rumours that the couple will star in a tell-all series. Soon after the couple completed their final royal duties in March 2020, Harry made the following statement in a video diary that was featured in the first episode: “It’s really hard to look back on it now and go, what on earth happened? Like how did we end up here?”
Harry claimed that he became “genuinely concerned for the safety of my family.” The trailers showed archive clips and pictures as Prince Harry and Meghan spoke about being ignored by the Royal Family. The royal couple moved to California with their two young children, Archie and Lilibet, after stepping back as senior royals in March 2020.
They have given numerous interviews about life in the Royal Family since leaving, including their famous Oprah interview from last year in which they accused an unnamed family member of racism and Meghan revealed she had considered suicide.
“My face was everywhere, my life was everywhere, tabloids had taken over everything,” Meghan shared her early experiences with the press. The Netflix series is being released in two sections of three episodes, on 8th and 15th December.
