Japan: In a weird twist of matters, a Japanese guy named Mr. Toko decided to invest his money to look like dog when people spend millions of dollars trying to make themselves look like celebrities.
Mr. Toko purchased a specially constructed dog collie suit, which cost $15,738 and took 40 days to make, allowing him to finally fulfill his ambition to transform into a four-legged canine.
The costume was created with assistance from the expert firm Zeppet.
According to a local Japanese news source, Zeppet manufactures numerous sculptures for movies, advertisements, amusement parks, and other media. They also create costumes that have been shown on TV and outfits for well-known mascot figures in Japan.
While speaking to media, Mr. Toko remarked that, “I made it a collie because it looks real when I put it on my taste and costume. My favorite is quadrupedal animals, especially cute ones. Among them, I thought that a big animal close to me would be good, considering that it would be a realistic model, so I decided to make it a dog. Long-haired dogs can mislead the human figure. I met such a condition and made Collie, my favorite breed of dog.”
When asked whether he was able to move his limbs freely, Mr. Toko responded that, “There are restrictions, but you can move it. However, if you move it too much, it will not look like a dog.”
