Kolkata, India: Former Australian pacer bowler Mitchell Johnson encountered a feisty friend in an unexpected place.

Mr. Johnson, who was in India for Legends League cricket, shared a photo of the snake from his hotel room in Kolkata and requested fans to identify what kind it was.

“Anyone know what type of snake this is?? Just hanging out in my room door,” wrote Mr. .Johnson on his Instagram post, which drew reactions from his former Australia teammate Mr. Brett Lee.

Hours after sharing the post, Mr. Johnson took to Instagram again, digging for answers to the previous question.

“Found a better pic of this snakes head. Still unsure what it is exactly. Interesting stay so far in Lucknow, India,” the Australian cricketer wrote while sharing the post.

    THE TOURNAMENT

League of Legends brings together former cricketers under one banner. Mr. Johnson, who is representing India Capitals in the tournament, bowled first and dismissed former Indian opener Mr. Virender  Sehwag.

While, Mr. Sehwag led Capitals won the match by a three-wicket margin, Mr. Johnson did well for himself, conceding just 22 runs from his three overs.

Earlier, Mr. Johnson spoke on the match between India and Australia and backed Mr. Virat Kohli to do well against the world champions. Mr. Johnson also said that the former captain’s return to form is good for India.

“It is good for India when their best players can make runs and keep the side confident. He is that player who changed the focus of the team when he took on the captaincy. The team will be happy that he is scoring runs,” Mr. Johnson remarked.

One of the best bowlers of the Australian generation, Mr. Mitchell Johnson was a fearsome figure in the bowling line-up. Mr. Johnson has taken 239 wickets from 153 ODI matches. Looking at the Test format, the bowler has taken 313 wickets in 73 matches.
