Washington: Congressional Democrats have released new files from the Jeffrey Epstein Estate that include the names of Elon Musk and Prince Andrew.
The documents appear to show that Musk was invited to Epstein’s island in December 2014. Records also show Prince Andrew listed as a passenger on a flight from New Jersey to Florida in May 2000.
The files, part of the third batch of documents produced by Epstein’s estate, contain phone message logs, flight manifests, financial ledgers, and daily schedules. Additional prominent figures named include internet entrepreneur Peter Thiel and former US President Donald Trump adviser Steve Bannon.
One record dated 6 December 2014 notes: ‘Reminder: Elon Musk to island Dec. 6 (is this still happening?).’ A flight manifest lists Prince Andrew on a flight with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell from Teterboro, New Jersey, to West Palm Beach, Florida, on 12 May 2000. Maxwell was convicted in 2021 for conspiring with Epstein to traffic minors for sex.

The ledger records two references to payments for massages for an “Andrew” in February and May 2000. While Palace records confirm Prince Andrew’s US travel during that period, it is not clear if the ledger references correspond to the Duke of York.
Buckingham Palace had noted travel to New York from 11–15 May 2000 for a reception with the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.
Additional entries in the files refer to planned meetings with Peter Thiel in November 2017, Steve Bannon in February 2019, and Microsoft founder Bill Gates in December 2014. There is no suggestion that those mentioned were aware of Epstein’s criminal activities.
Epstein died by suicide in August 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. Democrats on the House Oversight Committee have urged the US Attorney General to release further files, while Republicans have indicated that the full set of documents will be made public soon.
